Lately I've been thinking about how to make these newsletters, and my work in general, as helpful as possible.

Rather than guess, I thought I'd simply ask.

Over the next 30 years, I did everything right: earned a PhD, completed a postdoc, landed the right faculty position, got tenure, was promoted to full professor.
