This month’s blog explores a related theme: the hidden dangers of overly safe lives.
It was inspired by a line from one of my favorite essays by the pioneering ecologist and environmental philosopher Aldo Leopold:
“We all strive for safety, prosperity, comfort, long life, and dullness…”
The blog explores how excessively safe and carefully managed lives can gradually disconnect us from who we really are and what we really want.
It ends with this observation:
“Sometimes the path out of feeling stuck is not greater safety and certainty.
Sometimes it is rediscovering a little wildness, and even a little danger.”
I’m also extending free access to Robert AI for another month.
And my short guide, "Nothing is Wrong. So Why Do I Feel Stuck?" is still available here:
All the best,
